Common House Spiders

These are the most common seen spiders in North America, found in and around houses, barns, storage sheds, fences, bridges, and other structures, and also under stones and boards.

They spin irregular webs, usually in the corners and window angles. One or more oval egg cases wrapped in coarse, brown , parchmentlike silk are often conspicuous in the web. This spider is also called the American house spider, domestic spider
